how it works

Two minutes now, a truthful calendar forever

1

Sign in with Google

Your account and calendar sync in one click. Basic profile only — calendar access is a separate, later choice.

~10 seconds
2

Paste one line into Terminal

It installs a free, open-source tracker on your Mac. Your iPhone mirrors in over iCloud — nothing to install on the phone.

~90 seconds, once
3

Watch the week fill itself in

Dashed suggestions appear where your calendar was empty. Accept the true ones, dismiss the rest — timegarden learns your labels.

the idea

Water what matters.

You can't improve what you don't see.

Unseen timeWithout visibility, it drifts.
Seen timeWith clarity, it grows.
See where your time goes Focus on what matters Grow your best week

My calendar was a work of fiction — full of plans, silent about reality. Seeing my real weeks changed how I spend them. That's the whole product: watch one honest week fill itself in, and you'll plan the next one differently.

questions

Straight answers.

Does timegarden take screenshots or read what I type?

No. It records app names, window titles and times — never what you type, read or see. The tracker is open-source, so you can check.

What exactly leaves my Mac?

Entries like "Cursor — 9:14 to 10:05", sent to a database row only your account can read. Idle and locked-screen time never uploads.

How does iPhone tracking work without an app?

Apple already syncs your iPhone's Screen Time to your Mac over iCloud. timegarden reads it there. Nothing is installed on your phone.

What does it cost?

Nothing during beta. Later, a Pro plan will cover the connected extras — Google sync, automatic tracking, the recorder, booking links — and founding users keep a discount.

Do you sell my data or train AI on it?

No, and no. No ads either. Google has verified the app, and its data use follows Google's Limited Use policy.

What do I need?

A browser for the calendar. Automatic tracking needs a Mac; iPhone sync needs iCloud's "Share Across Devices". Windows and Linux work with one manual step.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. Turn off any source instantly in the app, and one email erases your account and all data within 30 days.

Grow your best week.
